Production Operator

About the role

Voyager Technologies is seeking Production Operators for its GOEX black‑powder manufacturing facility in Minden, Louisiana. The role involves hands‑on production work in a safety‑critical environment that handles explosives, requiring strict adherence to procedures and teamwork.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and tend production machines, staging and weighing raw materials.
• Prepare packaging materials and package finished products.
• Record production data, batch information, and material usage accurately.
• Safely operate forklifts to move raw materials, finished goods, and waste.
• Follow all standard operating procedures, PPE requirements, spill response, and chemical handling protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Perform routine inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Collaborate with team members, maintenance technicians, and supervisors to meet production targets.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and understand English and perform basic math.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain state and federal explosives licenses.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
