Product Marketing Specialist – Industrial Automation

About the role

AVEVA is seeking a Product Marketing Specialist focused on industrial automation to join its globally‑distributed team. The role will develop digital marketing and sales‑enablement content that tells the story of AVEVA’s PI System products to B2B customers.

Key responsibilities

• Create buyer personas and uncover customer pain points.
• Develop competitive intelligence and comprehensive go‑to‑market plans, including positioning, value proposition, launch strategy, and sales‑enablement tools.
• Produce thought‑leading content such as websites, presentations, brochures, white papers, customer stories, e‑books, and videos.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing communications, product management and other cross‑functional teams to execute demand‑generation programs and generate qualified leads.
• Design sales tools and programs that align with the buyer’s journey.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in a B2B technology or software environment.
• Familiarity with operations technology, historian software, SCADA, HMI, control systems, edge, IIoT or data‑visualisation solutions (preferred).
• Experience in manufacturing, infrastructure, smart utilities or heavy‑industry sectors is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written, oral and visual storytelling communication skills.
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and pay close attention to detail.
• Enjoys collaborative, cross‑team work.

What we offer

• Salary range $74,700 – $124,500 per year.
• Hybrid work model (3 days onsite per week) in Houston, TX.
• Full‑time permanent position.
