Product Manager – Voice AI (Real‑time Conversations)

About the role

We’re looking for a Product Manager for Voice to lead real‑time, human‑quality AI conversations. Voice is a demanding surface for AI agents, requiring low latency, high reliability, natural turn‑taking, and the ability to handle messy, real‑world interactions across phone systems and global customers.

Key responsibilities

• Define the voice interaction model, shaping turn‑taking, interruptions, latency, tone, and error recovery.
• Partner with engineering to build reliable streaming architectures, set latency budgets, and design failure‑handling mechanisms.
• Own the end‑to‑end voice stack, collaborating across ASR, TTS, LLMs, and telephony integrations.
• Establish metrics for voice performance—latency, interruption handling, resolution rate, and conversation quality—and create feedback loops for continuous improvement.
• Translate real‑world usage, including noisy environments and diverse accents, into product direction and enhancements.

Required profile

• 3+ years of product management experience with exposure to real‑time systems, voice, or AI products.
• Proven track record shipping voice or real‑time products and handling latency and streaming constraints.
• Strong technical depth to engage deeply with engineers on speech pipelines, streaming infrastructure, and telephony reliability.
• Experience working with AI systems such as LLMs, speech‑to‑text, or text‑to‑speech in production environments.
