Product Manager, Safe Access

About the role

Anthropic is building reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. The Safe Access product manager will own the strategy and end‑to‑end experience for identity, verification, and access primitives that power every Claude surface, ensuring that internal teams and external partners can provision and manage access safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the product roadmap for account and access primitives, coordinating across research, safeguards, legal, and go‑to‑market teams.
• Own the full lifecycle of access experiences for internal stakeholders and external customers, maintaining consistency across all surfaces.
• Shape API designs and UX for access APIs used by platforms, resellers, and internal services, making product decisions in partnership with engineering.
• Collaborate with trusted access and verification product managers to create reusable shared primitives.

Required profile

• Proven ability to ship products through ambiguity and cross‑organization dependencies.
• Experience owning a developer platform, identity, authorization, or access‑management product end‑to‑end (typically 5+ years as a PM).
• Strong written communication that conveys trade‑offs clearly to engineers, executives, and external partners.
