Product Management Intern – Summer 2027 (St. Louis, MO)

About the role

Mastercard’s internship program offers hands‑on experience, skill‑building and networking opportunities while contributing to real business priorities. As a Product Management Intern you will learn to develop business cases, design scalable customer‑centric products and support go‑to‑market activities within a collaborative product team.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to solve customer and business challenges.
• Use data, research and insights to support product decisions.
• Apply analytical and problem‑solving skills to identify opportunities and risks.
• Support product planning, delivery and continuous improvement.
• Communicate ideas and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Explore emerging technologies, including AI, and assess their business applications.
• Build knowledge of digital products, technology and the payments ecosystem.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or accelerated Master’s program with graduation between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving, critical thinking and strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage priorities, stay organized and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
• Curiosity about customers, products and emerging technologies such as AI, data and APIs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
