Product Engineering Specialist

About the role

The Product Engineering Specialist will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive product quality, performance and continuous improvement for 3M Consumer Business Group Home Improvement products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical product support, lifecycle management and continuous improvement of Home Improvement products.
• Partner with marketing, manufacturing, quality and development teams to execute product changes, cost improvements and product line extensions.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) programs and transition innovative concepts into commercial launches.
• Collaborate with manufacturing plants, suppliers and business partners to ensure efficient, reliable product delivery.
• Drive resolution of product and manufacturing challenges through root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline.
• At least three years of manufacturing and/or laboratory experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
• Strong attention to detail with experience managing technical documentation, specifications and change management.
• Proven ability to lead projects, influence stakeholders and work effectively on cross‑functional teams.
