Product Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Product Design Engineer to lead the design and development of suspension systems for heavy‑duty vehicles. The role involves validating designs, managing analysis projects, and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage technical aspects of major product design projects using our Product Planning and Development Procedure.
• Design, validate, and produce test reports and sign‑off documents to ensure production readiness.
• Coordinate with CAD, FEA, laboratory personnel and other internal departments.
• Interface with suppliers, customers, and end‑users for technical support and project alignment.
• Drive continuous improvement through employee development, process optimization, and waste elimination.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Aeronautical or related engineering field.
• 4‑6 years of experience in vehicle structural design, preferably heavy‑duty trucks.
• Proven ability to manage development projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to lead cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools.
• Dynamic structural, fatigue, and vibration analysis.
• GD&T and familiarity with IATF 16949 or ISO 9001 quality standards.
• Exposure to vehicle dynamics, vibration, or controls.
