Process Engineer – Production Control

About the role

As a Process Engineer in Production Control, you will design, implement and continuously improve material logistics for manufacturing lines, ensuring safety, efficiency, cost‑effectiveness and quality. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, you will translate operational feedback into optimized conveyance methods, layouts and staffing plans.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Packaging, Logistics, Planning and Factory Software teams to design end‑to‑end material flow.
• Analyse data from multiple systems to create a PFEP (Plan For Every Part) and conduct warehouse capacity studies.
• Develop detailed warehouse and lineside layouts in CAD/Revit, including visual 5S signage.
• Calculate manpower requirements using Yamazumi charts and define equipment needs.
• Configure the internal Material Flow System (MFS) to match physical processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in material flow, process, supply‑chain or continuous‑improvement engineering.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and logistics business systems.
• Proven ability to mine, clean and analyse data using Excel, SQL or similar tools.
• Experience creating granular layouts with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Hands‑on experience with lean tools such as Yamazumi and PFEP implementation.
