Reporting to the Data Innovation Lead, you help identify, prototype and scale new methods and technologies that change how data is used across product development, exploring emerging capabilities such as AI, semantic integration and knowledge graphs.

Key responsibilities

  • Prototype, validate and scale advanced AI capabilities, with a focus on multi-agent development and orchestration architectures.
  • Lead data engineering activities to design, optimize and streamline data workflows, building scalable pipelines that integrate unstructured, multi-modal and unconventional data sources.
  • Drive innovation activities and lead complex analytical projects on novel data types, automated agent-driven workflows and knowledge graph integrations.
  • Partner with scientists, engineers and product teams to pilot data innovations and integrate advanced engineering pipelines into clinical development and data science workflows.
  • Develop low-/no-code analytics platforms to democratize multi-modal data access and set up frameworks for evaluating, productizing and reusing experimental data approaches.
  • Mentor junior team members and guide peers on new data modalities, data tools and agent architectures.
  • Ensure all engineering and AI frameworks comply with data privacy and security regulations such as HIPAA and GDPR.

Required profile

  • Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or a related field, with 6+ years of experience in data engineering, data science or healthcare innovation.
  • Proven success implementing innovation pilots, with deep practical experience in AI-driven analytics, multi-agent architectures and engineering frameworks in complex research or industry settings.
  • Proficiency with agile development, product thinking and innovation frameworks such as Lean Startup or Design Thinking, and experience evaluating data platforms, APIs or data partnerships.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts simply, and ability to work in a culturally diverse global workplace.
  • Preferred: exposure to real-world data or research informatics in a biomedical setting, interest in machine learning, knowledge graphs or clinical AI, and ability to summarize results for technical and non-technical audiences.

What we offer

  • Expected salary range of $140,900 to $261,700 USD per year, depending on experience, qualifications and location; relocation benefits are not available.
