Principal Business Consultant – Life Sciences R&D

About the role

Veeva is seeking a Principal Business Consultant to help Life Sciences companies accelerate the delivery of treatments to patients. In this senior consulting position you will reshape operating models, drive organizational change, and deliver measurable business value across R&D functions such as Clinical Operations, Clinical Data Management, Regulatory, and Pharmacovigilance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Veeva Business Consulting’s largest and most complex global projects, ensuring excellence across multiple teams.
• Own business development, designing and winning key deals exceeding $1M.
• Manage and mentor high‑performing consulting teams, driving professional growth and delivery standards.
• Develop and champion industry‑leading thought leadership within your practice area.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to C‑suite stakeholders, leveraging Veeva’s data and software to solve critical challenges.

Required profile

• 10+ years of Life Sciences consulting experience, preferably in management consulting.
• Proven track record of winning and delivering consulting engagements valued at $1M or more.
• Deep domain knowledge in biopharma ClinOps, Clinical Data, Regulatory, or Pharmacovigilance.
• Extensive experience managing multiple project teams and senior‑level customer relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
