About the role

NXP is hiring a Plasma Etch Process Engineer (G4) in Chandler, Arizona, to sustain and improve plasma etch processes in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. The engineer works toward safety, quality, cycle time, cost and yield objectives and partners with equipment engineering, manufacturing, metrology, yield enhancement and integration teams.

Key responsibilities

Develop and qualify process recipes and analyze process and equipment data
Drive root cause investigations and implement corrective actions to improve manufacturing performance and product reliability
Lead process characterization activities, run experiments and manage process changes through change control and qualification procedures
Work independently on moderately complex technical problems and guide technicians and junior engineers
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the factory
