Physical Therapist – Per Diem

About the role

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a pelvic‑trained Physical Therapist to provide per‑diem services across multiple locations. The role focuses on restoring function, preventing disability, and helping patients achieve maximum independence through evidence‑based therapy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans of care, including therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, functional mobility training, ADL training, and appropriate modalities.
• Perform patient assessments, reassessments, and modify treatment plans as needed while documenting progress in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Communicate patient status and limitations to supervisors, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide supervision and ensure cost‑effective care aligned with departmental billing guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy and current Pennsylvania PT license.
• Ability to travel to various patient care sites, including home‑care assignments.
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association) required upon hire.
• Physical ability to lift/carry 40‑50 lb and perform frequent standing, walking, and patient transfers.
