About the role

Ochsner Health seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide outpatient care for veterans. The role involves autonomous evaluation, treatment planning, and monitoring of patient progress while ensuring high-quality patient experience and compliance with care metrics.

Key responsibilities

Perform patient evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and adjust them based on response.
Maintain accurate patient records and meet productivity targets related to access, experience, and quality.
Assist in program development to address community and patient needs.
Adapt communication and care approach to respect patient privacy and preferences.

Required profile

Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
Current Physical Therapy license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Required skills

Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
Effective verbal and written communication for patient interactions.
