About the role
Aptus Health Care is looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant to join its rehabilitation team in Roma. You will work under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists, helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries or physical disabilities.
Key responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic exercises to patients
- Monitor patient progress
- Maintain treatment documentation
Required profile
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or eligibility for licensure
- Previous experience in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting is preferred but not required
- Must be able to lift and assist patients as needed
Required skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow treatment plans and assist patients in their recovery
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
