About the role
Aptus Health Care is looking for a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) to join its rehabilitation team. You will work under the supervision of licensed Occupational Therapists, helping patients improve their ability to perform daily living and work-related activities. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, in person.
Required profile
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist Assistant
- Previous experience in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting is preferred but not required
- Must be able to assist patients physically as needed
Required skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow treatment plans and assist patients in therapy activities
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
