About the role
Assist pharmacy customers in selecting durable or home medical equipment prescribed by physicians, measure and fit orthotics and garments, and support inventory management within a leading health network.
Key responsibilities
- Assist customers in choosing medical equipment and supplies, both in‑person and via phone.
- Receive inventory, label prices/costs, and store items in appropriate locations.
- Measure and fit custom and non‑custom orthotics, vascular garments, and mastectomy products.
- Perform quality control, property management, and repair parts management.
- Educate customers on product selection and usage.
- Monitor stock levels and submit purchase orders to manufacturers.
- Verify insurance coverage, obtain pre‑authorizations, and ensure timely billing.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 2 years of customer service experience.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lb, frequent sitting/standing, and keyboard use.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Basic email communication skills.
