People Specialist

About the role

Anthropic is looking for a People Specialist to join its People Team. You will partner with People Partners and cross‑functional leaders to ensure managers have the resources, processes, and guidance they need to handle performance cases, organizational changes, and other sensitive personnel matters.

Key responsibilities

• Manage performance casework end‑to‑end, including documentation, timeline tracking, and preparation of talking points.
• Own and improve operational processes that support managers and People Partners, such as external business activity requests and reorg processing.
• Develop, maintain, and update manager resources and documentation to keep them current and useful.
• Partner with Leadership Design on manager enablement programs, handling logistics, content, delivery, and the operational details that keep programs running smoothly.
• Pull, compile, and analyze reports and data for sensitive personnel matters.
• Maintain and enhance tracking systems for casework and manager enablement initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience supporting complex or sensitive casework with partial information, messy handoffs, and tight timelines.
• Strong attention to detail; able to close loops and locate critical information quickly.
• Excellent written communication, comfortable drafting materials for senior leaders.
• Good judgment on information sharing, knowing what to communicate verbally versus in writing.
• Willingness to push back and raise concerns with senior stakeholders when needed.
• Comfortable handling both high‑visibility and routine operational tasks.
