People Director

About the role

We are seeking a People Director to lead the development and execution of people strategies that support rapid business growth across the United States. This senior, remote position will serve as a trusted advisor to executive leaders and managers, translating strategic objectives into actionable HR initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with executive and senior leadership to align people strategies with business priorities and operational performance.
• Advise managers on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, performance management, employee development, and change initiatives.
• Monitor and analyze organizational health metrics such as engagement, turnover, hiring trends, and performance data.
• Design and implement scalable HR systems, dashboards, processes, and workflows to enhance manager effectiveness.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, performance issues, promotions, career development, and team dynamics.
• Support onboarding, succession planning, and leadership development programs.
• Drive adoption and optimization of AI‑powered HR tools and automation for reporting and talent operations.
• Collaborate with HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Total Rewards to ensure policy compliance, compensation equity, and market competitiveness.
• Act as escalation point for complex employee‑relations cases, ensuring timely and fair resolutions.

• Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into HR initiatives.
• Hands‑on leadership style, comfortable navigating executive conversations and day‑to‑day employee matters.
• Data‑driven approach with experience using analytics to improve organizational effectiveness.
