Pediatric Physical Therapist

About the role

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to join its Cedar Crest Health Center. The role focuses on evaluating, planning, and delivering physical therapy services to children, helping them regain independence and improve quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence‑based techniques such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, functional mobility training, and activities of daily living training.
• Perform patient assessments, reassess progress, and modify plans as needed while documenting all care in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Communicate patient status and limitations to physicians, supervisors, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide safe, compassionate care in home‑care settings, including lifting and transporting patients as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy; Master’s or Doctorate preferred.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Pennsylvania at time of hire.
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association) required.
• Ability to travel to home‑care assignments and perform physical tasks such as lifting 40‑50 lb.
