Patient Services Specialist

About the role

Scan.com is building a national imaging network that connects patients, providers, and payers. As a Patient Services Specialist on the Revenue Operations team, you will act as the stateside representative for the subsidiary brand, coordinating patient case processing with internal and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality‑assurance checks, pattern recognition, and discrepancy flagging on patient cases.
• Lead offshore teams and develop strong relationships with internal cross‑functional teams and market leads.
• Communicate case updates with external partners such as law firms, clinics, and third‑party companies.
• Own metrics related to phone calls, emails, QA, and case updates for the assigned market/brand.
• Drive project ownership, creating processes, managing timelines, and adapting to changes.

Required profile

• Working knowledge of HIPAA and other medical insurance regulations.
• Experience with electronic health/medical record systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to manage high‑volume patient updates across multiple systems in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication skills for calls and emails with law firms, attorneys, and case managers.
