Lead Clinical Operations Specialist

About the role

Scan.com is building a national imaging network that connects patients, providers, and payers to faster, higher‑value diagnostic imaging. As the Lead Clinical Operations Specialist you will own end‑to‑end imaging workflows, ensure data quality, and drive automation using AI. You will work closely with imaging centers, radiology groups, and internal teams to keep the diagnostic pathway smooth and reliable.

Key responsibilities

• Cross‑reference patient, imaging center, and radiologist information against client data and maintain accurate records.
• Own the quality bar for the entire team, building checks, spot‑audits, and feedback loops.
• Serve as the escalation point for imaging center and radiology group issues that fall outside standard playbooks.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and training materials to enable scalable operations.
• Identify and implement AI‑assisted or automated workflows that replace manual QC and data‑cross‑referencing tasks.

Required profile

• Experience in healthcare operations with handling of sensitive data (HIPAA compliance).
• Clinical knowledge of radiology or direct clinical experience is strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of high‑accuracy, detail‑critical work and leading by example.
• Comfort with low‑ego, direct communication and giving/receiving hard feedback.
