Patient Care Coordinator – Hearing Ambassador

About the role

The Hearing Ambassador supports licensed dispensers by engaging customers, promoting hearing health, scheduling appointments, and driving community outreach. The role is based in a Hearing Aid Center (HAC) but spends most of the time walking the club to intercept members and set up tests.

Key responsibilities

• Make 30‑50 outbound calls daily to prospective or existing customers.
• Secure at least 4 full hearing tests each day for the hearing‑aid specialist or audiologist.
• Promote and sell non‑hearing‑aid products, aiming for a 50% increase in those sales.
• Use a handheld screener (where permitted) to generate qualified leads.
• Assist with follow‑up calls for past‑tested members and schedule return visits.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer‑service, sales, or retail experience.
• Experience with PC hardware, software, and general Internet use.
• Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Previous experience scheduling patient or customer appointments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic computer systems and scheduling software.
• Ability to operate a handheld hearing screener where state regulations allow.
