Part‑Time Lecturer – Insurance Analytics & Management

About the role

Northeastern University seeks a qualified part‑time lecturer to teach graduate‑level courses in Insurance, Analytics and Management on‑ground, hybrid, and online formats at the Boston campus.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in analytics/AI topics such as probability, statistics, data exploration, data visualization, predictive analytics and machine learning.
• Teach insurance‑specific subjects including underwriting, claim management, finance, reinsurance and related areas.
• Support the Master of Professional Studies program’s mission to prepare professionals for entry‑ and mid‑level roles in the insurance industry.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in an aligned discipline or relevant analytics‑industry experience; PhD preferred.
• Demonstrated teaching, coaching or training experience, preferably at the graduate level (online or on‑ground).
• Ability to contribute to an inclusive environment for faculty, staff and students.
