About the role
The Department of World Languages and Cultures at Northeastern University seeks part‑time lecturers to teach Italian language and culture courses. Appointments are on a per‑term basis and may be offered throughout the year depending on enrollment.
Key responsibilities
- Teach elementary, intermediate, and advanced Italian language courses.
- Deliver culture‑focused classes taught in English.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Italian, linguistics, or a related field (Ph.D. preferred).
- Previous teaching experience at the college level.
Required skills
- Ability to teach Italian language and culture to diverse student groups.
- Proficiency in delivering instruction in English.
