Part‑Time Lecturer – Immunology for Cell & Gene Therapy MS Program

About the role

Northeastern University seeks a part‑time lecturer to teach immunology to students in the Cell and Gene Therapy Professional Master’s Programs. The role involves delivering high‑quality lectures, facilitating discussions, and providing timely feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lectures using existing instructor guides and course materials.
• Facilitate respectful, engaging debates and discussions in both in‑person and online classes.
• Review, grade, and coach students on assignments, maintaining consistent communication about performance.
• Hold office hours as needed and adhere to university policies.

Required profile

• PhD in immunology or a closely related field, or equivalent graduate degree.
• At least five years of experience in biotechnology, biopharma, pharmaceuticals, or a related industry.
• Prior teaching experience in a diverse higher‑education setting is preferred.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of immunology.
• Proficiency with teaching platforms and online classroom tools.
