About the role
RLC is seeking part‑time forklift operators for its Piedmont, SC service center. The position works the first shift, Monday‑Friday, from 5:30 AM to 11:30 AM, moving freight safely in and out of trailers.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a forklift on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock to load and unload freight from trailers up to 53 ft long.
- Handle various types of freight safely, following manifests and company procedures.
Required profile
- Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
- Dependable, able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Forklift operation experience.
- Ability to read manifests and interact with a computer display.
