Loader Supervisor

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking a Loader Supervisor for its Piedmont, SC Service Center. The position oversees dock and dispatch operations on the 2nd shift, ensuring efficient and safe freight handling.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate dock operations and driver/freight handler scheduling.
• Ensure safety compliance and quality freight handling procedures.
• Timely dispatch of LTL loads and manage driver and freight handler teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager.

Required profile

• Proven basic leadership experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and logistical problem‑solving abilities.
• Knowledge of the local area and prior LTL leadership experience preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Computer literacy and ability to use scheduling and dispatch software.
