About the role
Southwest Airlines is looking for friendly, customer‑focused individuals to join its ground operations team at Burbank Airport (BUR). As a part‑time Customer Service Agent you will be one of the first faces travelers see, helping them check‑in, answer questions, and navigate any travel changes.
Key responsibilities
- Assist passengers at ticket counters, gate areas, and baggage service offices.
- Provide accurate information on flight status, reservations, and airline policies.
- Handle check‑in, boarding, and baggage inquiries efficiently.
- Support customers during delays, cancellations, or schedule changes with empathy and clear communication.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment and follow safety procedures.
Required profile
- Residency in the State of California.
- Ability to work 32 hours per week across 5 days, with shift premiums and overtime as needed.
- Willingness to complete 4‑6 weeks of training (8 hours per day, 5 days a week).
- Strong teamwork, patience, and a positive attitude.
