Part‑Time Clinical Instructor – Nursing

About the role

The School of Nursing at Northeastern University is hiring part‑time clinical instructors to teach a variety of nursing courses, including Adult Medical/Surgical, Public Community Health, Maternal‑Child, Pediatrics, Psychiatric/Mental Health, and Senior Practicum. Instructors will guide students through hands‑on clinical experiences to develop competent, safe nursing practice.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate and supervise clinical learning experiences for nursing students.
• Educate, evaluate, mentor, and serve as a professional role model.
• Ensure students acquire the knowledge, skills, and competencies required for nursing practice.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• At least two years of full‑time equivalent experience as a registered nurse.
• Active, unencumbered North Carolina RN license (or multistate licensure permitting practice in NC).
• Previous teaching experience is highly desirable.
