Part-Time Shipping and Finishing Clerk

About the role

The Part-Time Shipping and Finishing Clerk manages preparation and dispatch of domestic and international shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with customer specifications. The role also involves material inspection, rework, and quality checks in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and fill boxes with ordered products, verifying contents against Label Management software records.
• Prepare and print shipping documents (packing slips, bills of lading, certificates of origin) and apply appropriate shipping labels.
• Schedule freight pick‑ups with external carriers such as USPS, UPS, and FedEx.
• Unpack, examine, and inventory incoming shipments, reporting damages or shortages promptly.
• Operate hand trucks and forklifts to move materials safely within the warehouse.
• Inspect rolls of material, compare with tickets, and perform required rework using rewind tables, shrink wrappers, and rewinders.
• Cross‑check team members' work for accuracy and provide sign‑off for quality assurance.
