Part-time Psychiatrist – Integrated Care Clinic

About the role

Amae Health is opening a new outpatient clinic in Orange, CA and seeks a part‑time psychiatrist to join an interdisciplinary team delivering high‑quality care for individuals with severe mental illness.

Key responsibilities

• Provide behavioral health management to patients with schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar I disorder, and treatment‑resistant depression.
• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans during engagement and stabilization phases.
• Monitor patient progress across multiple treatment modalities and coordinate longitudinal outpatient care.
• Collaborate daily with therapists, primary‑care physicians, dietitians, and community health workers within the integrated clinic.
• Participate in continuous learning programs and contribute to research and outcomes frameworks.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible psychiatrist.
• Experience treating severe mental illness in an outpatient setting.
• Commitment to integrated, team‑based care and evidence‑based practice.
• Ability to manage a manageable caseload and work at the top of your license.

Required skills

• Psychopharmacology expertise for schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and treatment‑resistant depression.
• Proficiency in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Strong interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
