Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist – Outpatient Clinic

About the role

Amae Health is seeking a full‑time Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist to join its Orange County outpatient clinic. You will work within an interdisciplinary team to deliver personalized, high‑quality care for individuals living with severe mental illness, including the Medi‑Cal population.

Key responsibilities

• Lead psychosocial rehabilitation and life‑skills groups for clinic members.
• Teach illness self‑management and independent living skills.
• Support community integration, vocational readiness, and overall functional recovery.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, therapists, primary‑care providers, dietitians, and community support staff.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of clinical protocols and measurement tools.

Required profile

• Full‑time availability to work onsite at the Orange County clinic.
• Experience providing rehabilitation services to adults with severe mental illness.
• Ability to facilitate group sessions and teach practical self‑management skills.
• Comfort working with diverse populations, including Medi‑Cal beneficiaries.
