Part-Time Forklift Operator – Cordele, GA

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking part‑time Forklift Operators for its service center in Cordele, GA. You will work the 4 am‑10 am shift, Monday‑Friday, moving freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long. The position offers a starting wage of $20.14 per hour and a benefits package that includes vacation time and access to employee resorts.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload freight from 53‑foot trailers using a forklift on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock.
• Read and follow shipping manifests and operate computer displays to track inventory.
• Maintain safe forklift operation and adhere to all safety protocols.

Required profile

• Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable with experience operating a forklift in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to read manifests and interact with computer systems.
