Part-Time CT Technologist

About the role

Jupiter Medical Center, ranked #1 for safety, quality and patient satisfaction in Palm Beach County, is hiring a part-time CT Technologist. The technologist performs all CT procedures and produces high-quality images for radiologists' interpretation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all CT procedures: abdominal, pelvic, head/skull, thorax and extremities.
• Demonstrate knowledge of advanced computer applications, including PACS and image manipulation for image enhancement.
• Use advanced knowledge of human anatomy and pathology to deliver quality CT images.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Two years of college.
• Current State of Florida license.
• Current ARRT, CT Registry, required or obtainable within 6 months of hire.
• American Heart Association BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Ability to lift and move patients and heavy equipment, including pushing or pulling up to 40 lbs and carrying or lifting up to 50 lbs; the work can be physically demanding with prolonged standing, sitting and walking.
• Ability to work independently in a stressful environment, make sound decisions and stay detail-oriented.

Required skills

• Proficient computer skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
