About the role
The Cook will maintain a safe, healthy kitchen and prepare nutritious meals for guests, clients, and staff in a fast‑paced behavioral health residential setting.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare meals according to instructions and daily menus from the Food Services Director.
- Serve meals to clients, guests, and staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy work area and comply with Department of Health inspections.
- Operate cashless register for sales, debits, payouts, and closeout balances.
- Perform other duties as required.
Required profile
- Current CPR/First Aid/Narcan training and annual negative TB test.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (preferred) and successful background and Adult Protective Services checks.
- Current Food Handlers Card.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, follow simple instructions, and communicate effectively.
Required skills
- Knowledge of food safety and Department of Health inspection procedures.
- Experience operating a cashless register.
