Part-Time Clinical Security Guard - ER Clinic

About the role

Allied Universal offers a part-time Clinical Security position at an ER clinic in Henderson, Nevada. The role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the option to pick up extra shifts through a claim-a-shift program, building toward a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour.

The schedule shown is Thursday 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Friday 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM and Saturday 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The fixed shift requires a six-month commitment, and applicants must be willing to receive required hospital vaccinations and to work in a hospital morgue.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff and vendors while carrying out security procedures, healthcare facility policies and emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies and critical situations, notifying facility personnel and first responders as site procedures require.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor, staff and vendor activity, reporting unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Complete required reports and maintain accurate activity logs for patrols, incidents and other duties.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Willingness to receive required hospital vaccinations and to work in a hospital morgue.
• Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Subject to a background investigation and a drug screen to the extent permitted by law; licensing may be required before employment.
