About the role

The Department of World Languages and Cultures seeks qualified instructors to teach Arabic language and culture courses on a per‑term basis. Appointments are part‑time and contingent on enrollment and departmental needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Teach elementary, intermediate, and advanced Arabic language courses.
  • Deliver culture‑focused classes taught in English.
  • Provide instruction on a per‑term basis, adjusting to enrollment levels.

Required profile

  • Master’s degree in Arabic, Linguistics, or a related field (Ph.D. preferred).
  • Previous teaching experience at the college level.
  • Maintain valid U.S. work authorization for the entire appointment.

What we offer
