Overnight Front Office Manager

About the role

The Overnight Front Office Manager is the Manager on Duty for the overnight shift at Hyatt Centric Wall Street, overseeing all hotel operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, security, and accurate financial reporting before the start of each business day.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the overnight team, handle guest concerns, and ensure a safe, secure environment.
• Complete the nightly audit, balancing room revenue, taxes, cash deposits, credit card reconciliations, and other financial transactions.
• Generate, reconcile, and distribute daily financial and operational reports, resolving discrepancies.
• Monitor PMS, POS, and other system interfaces to ensure successful overnight processing.
• Conduct property inspections, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with Engineering, Security, and Housekeeping.
• Prepare shift reports and handover notes for the morning leadership team.
• Ensure compliance with Hyatt policies, cash‑handling procedures, labor regulations, and union contract provisions.

Required profile

• Hands‑on hospitality leader with strong night‑audit and accounting experience.
• Experience working in a unionized hotel environment and knowledge of collective bargaining agreements.
