Order Entry Specialist (Remote)

About the role

ByteWise LLC is looking for a meticulous Order Entry Specialist to join its remote team in the United States. The specialist will be responsible for accurately processing a high volume of customer purchase orders, ensuring data integrity, and supporting the sales and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Enter customer purchase orders into internal systems with precision.
• Review orders for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company policies.
• Verify customer information, shipping details, and pricing to prevent errors.
• Communicate with sales representatives and internal departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain and update customer records and order logs.
• Generate order acknowledgements, invoices, and related documentation.
• Respond to internal enquiries about order status and tracking.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the order entry process.

Required profile

• Proven experience in order entry, data entry, or a similar administrative role.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Must be based in the United States.

Required skills

• Proficient typing and data‑entry speed.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Experience with CRM systems.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
