OluKai Retail Lead - Naples, FL

About the role

As the OluKai Retail Lead (Huaka'i, meaning to lead), you welcome customers into the store and deliver a remarkable brand experience as the first point of contact for guests. The role is open to responsible, outgoing, culturally minded people who are genuine, service-oriented and passionate about premium products and the retail industry. Two openings are available: part time (29 hours or less per week) and full time (32 hours or more per week).

Key responsibilities

• Open and close the store to standard, manage store keys and security measures.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed and coach retail associates as needed.
• Uphold company policies, procedures and directives, and hit the goals set by management.
• Engage new customers, tell the brand's story and share product design inspiration.
• Solve customer problems independently while maintaining a spirit of Aloha, even under pressure.
• Maintain visual standards and store cleanliness, and help with back-of-house duties such as receiving, processing product and restocking.
• Use POS best practices for a seamless customer experience and act as a brand ambassador, taking part in local events and giving-back programs.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of retail or customer service experience, preferably in a leadership or key-holder role.
• Available for at least three (4-8 hour) shifts per week.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, independent work ethic, good time management and organization.
• Positive attitude, high integrity and the ability to lift or move objects up to 30 lbs.
