Occupational Therapist – Pediatric

About the role

Lehigh Valley Health Network seeks a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join its Trexlertown health center. The role focuses on evaluating, planning, and delivering OT services to children, helping them regain independence and improve quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans of care for pediatric patients.
• Provide evidence‑based treatments such as therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, functional mobility training, activities of daily living training, splinting/DME, and modalities.
• Perform assessments, reassessments, and modify care plans as needed.
• Document patient progress, communicate with physicians and team members, and ensure compliance with regulatory and billing guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Less than 1 year of clinical experience as required by the OT program.
• Current Pennsylvania OT license (required upon hire).
• Basic Life Support certification (required upon hire).
• Ability to travel to home‑care assignments and lift/carry 40‑50 lb.
