About the role
Lehigh Valley Health Network seeks a Nursing Supervisor to lead weekend day operations, ensuring high‑quality patient care and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily nursing activities, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with regulatory bodies.
- Review and adjust nursing care plans, coordinate on‑call duties, and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Participate in quality improvement teams, conduct chart audits, and identify opportunities for process enhancement.
- Develop and deliver orientation and continuing education programs for nursing staff.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Minimum 4 years experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute‑care hospital.
- Licensed RN in Pennsylvania.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and lift/carry up to 25 lb.
Required skills
- Cardiac arrhythmia interpretation (course completion or exam).
- Medication administration proficiency (exam pass).
- Clinical data analytics for measuring processes and outcomes.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA, and patient rights.
