Network Administrator – Multi‑Site Enterprise Networks

About the role

The Network Administrator will manage and optimise the wired and wireless network infrastructure for Church of the Highlands and Highlands College across multiple sites. Working with limited supervision, you will ensure reliable, secure, and high‑performance network services that support ministry operations, staff, students, and weekend events.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, configure, monitor and support enterprise‑class wired and wireless networks across all locations.
• Maintain switching, routing, firewall, WAN, and security services in line with organisational standards.
• Monitor network health, capacity and performance, proactively identifying improvement opportunities.
• Troubleshoot complex connectivity issues and coordinate with telecom and ISP providers.
• Participate in planning, design and implementation of network projects, upgrades and new site deployments.

Required profile

• 3+ years of enterprise network administration experience, preferably in a multi‑site environment.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong documentation and communication skills.
• Experience leading network projects or acting as a technical lead.
