National Sales Director

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking a National Sales Director to lead its sales organization across the United States. You will act as the senior sales leader, representing upper management and driving revenue growth for the company’s transportation services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead national sales initiatives, set targets and develop strategies to increase revenue and profit.
• Maintain and expand a portfolio of key accounts, building multi‑level relationships with decision makers.
• Monitor market trends, competition, pricing and service offerings using reporting tools.
• Collaborate with operations, local sales leaders and the VP of Sales to align customer strategies with company goals.
• Provide regular performance reports and corrective action plans using MicroStrategy and CRM systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work/military experience.
• Minimum 7 years of sales experience with a proven record of meeting targets.
• National or corporate sales management experience in the transportation industry.

Required skills

• MicroStrategy reporting.
• CRM platform proficiency.
