Business Development Executive, Event Sales

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Executive to drive sales and revenue growth for our portfolio of trade shows, including Vision Expo, JCK, National Hardware Show, PGA Show, Bar Convent Brooklyn and many more. You will identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships and deliver tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Respond quickly to inbound leads and incorporate value‑based selling in conversations.
• Maintain the sales pipeline and log activity in Salesforce.
• Identify prospect needs and customize event packages.
• Prospect new accounts through cold calls, email and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
• Utilize sales strategies and tools to achieve revenue targets.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction.
• Manage the full sales process from lead generation to deal closure.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity and report findings.
• Participate in trade shows and industry events to generate leads and raise brand awareness.

Required profile

• Experience in business development or sales, preferably in the trade‑show industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to learn and grow.
• Positive attitude and openness to constructive feedback.
