Mobile Device Deployment & Fulfillment Technician

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Mobile Device Deployment & Fulfillment Technician to provision, configure, track, and ship Android tablets that support families dealing with dementia. The role blends IT device management, inventory control, and operational execution in our Boston‑based deployment center.

Key responsibilities

• Enroll Android tablets into MDM systems (Knox, Miradore, Intune) and assign IMEIs.
• Configure applications, remote‑access tools (e.g., SplashTop), and perform functional testing before shipment.
• Generate FedEx shipping labels via API, pair device identity with tracking, and maintain organized packing workflows.
• Track inventory of tablets, accessories, and supplies; reconcile physical counts with system records.
• Identify workflow inefficiencies, support scaling from 30 to 100+ devices per day, and collaborate on automation initiatives.

Required profile

• 1–5 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, device deployment, or mobile device technician roles.
• Strong attention to detail, accurate documentation, and ability to work independently onsite.

Required skills

• Android tablet provisioning and hardware configuration.
• MDM platforms such as Knox, Miradore, or Intune.
• IMEI tracking and hardware asset management.
• FedEx API integration for label generation.
• Label printer operation (Dymo, Zebra) and familiarity with shipping systems.
