Merchandiser – Full‑time (Newport News)

About the role

Join Breakthru Beverage as a Merchandiser and help showcase our brands across retail locations. You will work Monday‑Friday, traveling to customer sites with your own vehicle to build displays, manage inventory, and ensure product placement meets brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Stock and rotate shelves in new and existing accounts.
• Build and maintain point‑of‑sale displays and manage POS materials.
• Execute store resets for remodels, grand openings, and seasonal changes.
• Develop strong relationships with key accounts and relay feedback to the sales team.
• Identify opportunities to expand shelf and cold‑box facings and communicate out‑of‑stock or new‑item situations.
• Continuously learn beer, wine, and spirit knowledge to support customers.
• Handle beverage alcohol products responsibly and follow safety guidelines.

Required profile

• At least 21 years old with a high‑school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Professional demeanor and sound judgment.
• Willingness to work occasional weekends and lift 45‑65 lb.

• $18.75 per hour base pay.
• $2,400 annual car allowance and $300 monthly gas card.
