Medical Technician (EMT, CNA, or MA)

About the role

Clear Behavioral Health seeks a Medical Technician to support medication adherence and act as a liaison between clients and medical staff. The role operates under the supervision of the Program Manager or Director, ensuring compliance with medication policies and documentation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely client medication administration and supervise self‑administration according to physician orders.
• Audit client charts and Medication Administration Records in the KIPU system, conduct medication counts, and manage pharmacy communications.
• Dispense and log over‑the‑counter medications, coordinate ordering, pickup, and drop‑off, and handle safe storage and disposal of discontinued meds.
• Record patient care services, take vital signs, perform light housekeeping in detox houses, and provide 1:1 supervision for at‑risk clients.
• Maintain shift logs, follow emergency procedures, and assist with additional tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in mental health or dual‑diagnosis settings (preferred).
• Valid EMT, MA, or CNA certification and ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Ability to pass TB/X‑Ray clearance and a clean background check/livescan.
