Medical Assistant – Pediatric Specialties

About the role

The Medical Assistant supports pediatric patients and providers throughout each visit, ensuring smooth flow and high‑quality care. Working under the supervision of a licensed health‑care provider, you will assist with clinical tasks, documentation, and patient communication.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare patients and providers for appointments, answer patient questions, and maintain a clean exam room for the next visit.
• Document patient information, register new patients when needed, and update electronic health records.
• Communicate with patients by phone and in person to ensure timely and accurate care.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow compliance, privacy, and safety standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a formal medical assistant program preferred.
• Experience handling confidential information in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications for clinical documentation.
