About the role

Provide individualized medical care to patients in the Colon and Rectal Clinic, supporting the provider throughout each visit and ensuring smooth patient flow.

Key responsibilities

  • Support patients and providers during visits, preparing rooms and answering patient questions.
  • Communicate via phone and in person to meet patient needs promptly.
  • Document medical information in company data systems and handle patient registration as needed.
  • Maintain clinical knowledge, technical skills, and credentials through ongoing professional development.

Required profile

  • High school diploma; completion of a formal medical assistant training program preferred.
  • Experience handling confidential information in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Medical Assistant Certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Required skills

  • Clinical knowledge and proficiency in using computers, software, and web‑based applications.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with patients and staff.
